LED Calibration walkthrough

For simple LED wall setups, build according to a known design, calibration data can be generated without prior calibration in Creator.

Create a new Project

Open Mapper3D and create a new project by selecting Menu/File/New LED Wall project.... The Generate LED Wall dialog will open. Configure the wall parameters according to the physical setup and click OK.

Directional Shading (optional)

Use the Directional Shading available through Projectors/Adjust/Shading to compensate for viewpoint dependent color drift.

Preview calibration results

Mapper3D has a toolbar providing several previews to be shown on PatternGenerator. Use Preview Toolbar/Preview 3D warped for a quick preview of the calibration result.

Export

Add an export in the Pipeline Editor and configure it according to the target LED wall setup. Then hit “Run Pipeline” to run the export.
